During the 8th International Topical Meeting on Neutron Radiography held in Beijing this year, it was decided that Argentina will host the next meeting.
By 2020 the new Argentinean research reactor RA-10 is foreseen to be running and delivering thermal and cold neutrons for research. The first instrument to be operational at LAHN (Laboratorio Argentino de Haces de Neutrones) will be for neutron imaging. For this reason, Dr. Javier Santisteban, Technical Coordinator of the LAHN Project, proposed the city of Buenos Aires as the next host for the 9-ITMNR, to be organised by the Argentinean Atomic Energy Commission. We are honored to have been selected and cordially welcome you in 2020.
